Recently, we were contacted by a good friend at VMR regarding a batch of erroneously produced 18x9.5 5x112 VMR V710 wheels. These wheels were made with a +50 offset which wouldn't really work for any cars in their Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes market.

Enter WheelFlip. With a strong S2000 background, I knew that these would be an excellent "aggressive-but-not-over-the-top" non-staggered setup for that car. That in mind, we went ahead and purchased them all with the intention of bringing VMR Wheels to the 5x114.3 market. We would utilize our own re-drill and insert service and convert the wheels upon purchase.

This particular 2007 Honda S2000 is running the Gunmetal V710's with 265/35/18 Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires.


It's front fenders and quarter panels were professionally rolled.

So how much work exactly does it take to fit these wheels? Well, there are a few variables such as fender work, suspension drop, desired tire size, and camber settings.

Personally, I would suggest minor fender work all around, 255 width tires, and the "camber it 'til they fit" approach. You should easily be able to clear these with -2.5 camber in the front and -3.5 in the rear.
